FRIDAY NIGHT POINTS TOURNAMENT

RULES

IDENTIFYING THE 32 ENTRANTS TO THE GRAND QUALIFIER:

A minimum of 11 Shows is required to become a Qualified darter.

Qualified darters will be eligible first, if the tournament cannot be filled from the qualified rankings, the Non-qualified darters will then become eligible for tournament entry.
Qualification is indicated by a "$" next to a darter’s name on the weekly standings.
In determining the last entrant, (the 32nd darter, or the ‘odd darter out’ if less than 32 darters show and the number is odd), and a tie should exist between one or more darters, the tie breaking sequence is as follows:

If a tie should still exist, a 5 round (15 dart) bull-shoot will ensue. The darter with the most bulls, (counting single bull as 1 and double bull as 2), will gain entry into the tournament. If a tie still exists after 5 rounds, a sudden death round (3 darts each) will ensue. The sudden death round will continue until a winner is determined. A coin-toss will determine shooting order.

TOURNAMENT ENTRY:

Darters not present by 8:15pm (SHARP!) will NOT be entered in the tournament, PERIOD! No phone calls will be accepted for player entries.
All tournaments, except the Grand Qualifier, are limited to the first 64 paid entries.
If the number of entrants is odd, the last entrant to sign up will be withdrawn (Show Point awarded).
After 32 entries, the Loser’s Bracket may be reduced to 1 leg of 701-OI/MO.
Darters drawn together will NOT be separated for gender considerations.
Blind mis-draw: any draw irregularities will require a complete redraw.
Entry into consolation tournament may be limited to non-point winners for the evening.

DIDDLE:

The winner of a coin-toss has choice of shooting 1^st or 2^nd, with the closest to the bull winning. A dart must stick in the playing surface to be a valid diddle. A Double Bull beats a Single Bull, (red is red and blue is blue, i.e., holes are not counted).

The second thrower may request that a single or double bull be removed. If so requested, the first thrower MUST designate the Bull Value and pull the dart.

A tie exists and a re-throw shall ensue if:

Both darts score as a Double Bull, or

Both darts score as a Single Bull, or

Both darts score in the Double Ring, or

Both darts score in the Triple Ring, or

Both players agree to a re-throw.

Re-throws are done on an alternating first thrower basis.
The team winning the diddle chooses & starts the 1^st game. Loser of the 1^st game chooses & starts the 2^nd game. In 3^rd game, loser of original coin-toss chooses diddling order.

MYSTERY OUT:

Participation:

Participation is mandatory. Cost is $2 per darter.

Out Number:

Claiming - the first player to verbally notify Tournament Director will be awarded that number.

Drawing - the Out Number drawn must match exactly to win the Payout.

Winning - either the Player or Partner must be present, (in the house), to win the Mystery Out.

Payout:

Payout is Total Cash Accumulated with a Guaranteed Minimum of $100. If there is no winner, money is accumulated from week to week, or year to year, until there is a winner.

Splitting:

A 50/50 split is mandatory! The Player or Partner present will win their respective half of the Mystery Out. If either is not present, their half will be the starting amount of the next Mystery Out.

Door Prizes:

Door Prizes are subject to availability.

If the exact Out Number is not drawn, the next number DOWN, with no wrap-around, will win a Door Prize. If there is no next number DOWN, the Door Prize number will be redrawn.

8T0 & RED-EYE POOLS:

Participation:

Participation is optional and is open only to players entered in the tournament. Withdrawn entrant (odd player out) is eligible to Throw. Cost is $1 per ticket - maximum 10 tickets per pool, per tournament.

The Throw (No Practice):

Thrower will be determined by Ticket Drawing. Throw will commence before start of tournament. Once the Ticket Drawing is announced all players entered in the tournament must cease throwing Practice darts.

Payouts:

Payouts are 100% of Total Cash Accumulated. (Current tournament 's intake will be accrued until the following tournament). The 8T0 payout is rounded down to next whole dollar amount divisible by 3. Money not awarded will be accumulated from week to week, or year to year, until the Pool is cleared.

Winning:

1/3^rd of the 8T0 Payout will be awarded for each dart sticking in the Triple Twenty. 100% of the Red-Eye Payout will be awarded for a dart in the Center Hole of the Double Bull. (If Payout > $1000, 50% will be paid for a Double Bull. All winning darts must remain in the board for a count of 5, by the tournament director; count will commence with the Throw of the last dart.

Irregularities:

The dart must stick in the board to count, period. No dart may be rethrown. A dart bouncing out of the board is a lost dart and will NOT be rethrown. A dart sticking in the board that falls out, or is knocked out by a subsequent throw, is a lost dart and will NOT be rethrown. "Wedgies", a dart stuck in the crack of the board, is a lost dart and will NOT be rethrown. All other irregularities will be resolved at the discretion of the tournament director.

WEEKLY CASH DOOR PRIZE:

The House will donate $1.00 per registered darter to make up the Cash Door Prize amount. A pre-tournament drawing will be held to determine the winner.
